Arrived at hotel, I had booked 3 bedrooms only to be told that one of the rooms had been cancelled. I absolutely did not cancel any room, I asked to see the email that I had supposedly sent, he said he could not as the wifi was down. That his manager told him it was cancelled in december, I asked for the manager to come and show me proof of an email sent by me, which he could not. I also told him I had emailed the hotel last week asking if we could have the 3 rooms located near eachother, and that I had also got response to say they would do what they could to accommodate this, I had attached the hotel reservation at that time confirming the 3 rooms that were booked. We had been awake since 3am to get our flight we were very tired and wanted to freshen up, I also had my 6 year old daughter with us my husband and my elderly mother and mother in law. After waiting for a few minutes the man at the desk said he could give us a 2 bedroom apartment that was 10 minutes away, and we could walk here every morning to get our breakfast. I told him absolutely not that was a ridiculous solution, some heated words were said and around 30 minutes later he said he could give us rooms at there sister hotel but the rooms were not ready yet. I asked him why we were not offered this in the first place? To which he had no response. I reluctantly accepted the hotel change as there was no other option at this stage, he gave us the address it was around 5 minutes away up a very steep hill which was a struggle with a child and elderly. The whole process was very upsetting, I for one was in an awful mood for the rest of the day. We had a booking for the Colosseum that we were late for, we were stressed out that we wouldn't make it in time and be refused entry after paying a lot of money for tickets. thankfully the brilliant staff at the Colosseum still honoured our booking. Very very upsetting and stressful situation. Very bad hotel management and really don't think love holidays should be in partnership with them for package holidays going forward. If I could give this hotel no star review I would. It ruined our holiday. My own thoughts is that they overbooked the rooms at the hotel, and that because I had booked 2 single rooms they thought they could push them into a room together. Totally unacceptable, my mother and mother in law are private people and wanted separate rooms hence why I had booked them separately in the first place. Very bad experience, I'm sure they will reply with every excuse under the sun to try discredit this review, but it's lies.

Really great location. Was a good hotel for the price. Staff were great. Shout out to Masimo on reception. Very cool guy. Leave the shower to run for a minute and the hot water works fine. Easy walk from the central bus station. There are buses to and from the airport around the clock. Ten minute walk to the Colosseum and the forum fifteen from the circus maximus.

Regardless of the previous negative reviews, we found hotel to be great. We booked a twin, but got a double which was fine. No toilet seat, but without complaining one appeared later that day. Rooms aren't huge & are basic, but towels & bed linen are spotless. Hotel is in the perfect spot as a base for touring the city. Reception staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast is mostly croissants, cereal & biscuits, but we found them all tasty & adequate to start the day. If I were to visit Rome again, I would most definitely stay here. There is some renovation work going on, but it didn't disturb us

No. Just no. Booked online (pretty good reviews), photos looked good. First room - the water didn’t work. Second room - couldn’t open curtains as looked onto internal, dirty, dark stairwell. Bathroom - mold in most places, shower slider didn’t go higher than my waist, curtain really dirty and only closed partway, floor door jam came off when we shut the door and door knob didn’t work. Room was so hot and smelly. They moved us to a third room a - toilet seat coming off, shower with mold and broken door, towel rail you couldn’t use and the internal door knob kept coming off. No curtain in one of the windows so light in room all the time. So disappointed as we were looking forward to a chill time, but this just made us so anxious. And in reality it was expensive for a 3 star hotel. We were not expecting the Ritz but we were expecting clean and workable. Redeeming feature - staff were friendly and did try to help. It was really central to everything - just don’t expect a lot.

Very low standard, absolutely not a 3 star hotel as rated. Poor, dirty, markes om walls mv, worn-out furniture, much mould in shower and around the toilet. Showerdoors were broken and extremely dirty. Very small shower, difficult to take arms up without crashing into showerwalls. Poor breakfast. The only positiv thing was that the linen and towels were clean and it was possible to flush the toilet....
